Hi, I'm Ashley.
Born into a family of teachers and engineers in Valencia, California, I spent most of my childhood immersed in the world of academics and perpetually stuck in the pages of a Harry Potter book. It wasn’t until joining my high school's show choir that I overcame my adolescent fears of standing out and became hooked on showtunes, jazz hands, and lots of rhinestones. One thing led to another, and soon my growing love of theater led me all the way (out of the valley) to UCLA, where I earned my degree in Musical Theater. Who would ever have thought all those years playing pretend to Disney soundtracks with my sisters would come to use?
Now days, I am passionate about working with directors, musicians, designers, and fellow artists to create new and unique works that challenge, entertain, and inspire audiences.
In addition to theater, I can’t stop talking about 19th-century British literature, European History, and my favorite episodes of “The Twilight Zone.” You might catch me exploring the city, in an art museum, satisfying my sweet tooth, or drinking every latte I can get my hands on.
